Negotiating
Negotiating requires experience,
judgment and the ability to read people. It also
involves a keen understanding of the negotiating game,
tactical finesse and coolness under pressure.
I perform several roles depending on the needs of the client:
- Act as your lead negotiator
- Be part of your negotiating team
- Be an adviser behind the scenes
Negotiating is particularly
challenging when value is strategic. Normal valuation metrics do not
apply. Significant dollars can be gained or lost in the subtleties of
negotiation. Rookie mistakes can be expensive; having an experienced
negotiator on your team is a significant advantage.
